If Babylon the Great has blood guilt that reaches 'to heaven' that has to paid for, who is responsible for the blood of those who died refusing organ transplants, including the little girl who's experience was praised in the magazines in the 1960's? -

Is this a true statement? Elders that are DF will be reinstated much quicker than the average publisher.
by James Mixon inback in the early 70's there was a brother, well known in the circuit did the no no with.
a few of the young sisters in the congregation.
he was df and the word, he would never be.

only in JW land
Might seem that way, but there's hypocrisy and double standards and immorality in every strata of society, and yes, JWs have it too. When people claim to be honorable is when it stands out as most shocking, whether it's an entertainer that acts fatherly, (Bill Cosby), an inspirational public figure, (Jared the Subway guy), religious, (JW pedo elders), political, (Bill Clinton), or both of the latter, (Martin Luther King Jr.).

Yes, it happens. My grandfather slept with his brothers wife but was reinstated and reappointed an elder shortly thereafter. My grandmother slept with her brother in law (the same one) in a separate incident, and they were reinstated as well. Both couples were good friends til death. Yeah, creepy. -

A sincere message to those from the organisation monitoring my posts....
by stuckinarut2 inso, i know there are some from my congregation or from bethel who monitor my posts..... maybe you're looking for something to catch me out?.
just a question: rather than trying to find fault with me, have you stopped and looked into the issues or facts about the organisation that caused me to come to a place like this forum??.
facts are there for anyone to find nowadays....one just has to be willing to pull their head out of the sand.....

They translated one or two verses in a similar way to his translation and used quotes from his to show they were justified. Otherwise he had no connection. -

No one is monitoring your posts. Do you also believe the WTS is connected with the Freemasons and Johanas Greber was ghostwriter for the New World Translation? -

The disappointed look on a Jehovah's Witness face - that you're living a good and fulfilling life
by jambon1 inanother thread got me thinking of this issue.
i don't think you'll ever come across a set of people with such a skewed and twisted outlook on life.. my memory serves me well when i recall a sort of blood lusting excitement over things like the 9/11 atrocities.
in fact i remember jw's describing the event as 'sad but exciting.

You mean like when people here get excited about the ARC, long time volunteers being laid off from bethel, etc.? I'm sure nobody here is excited because they like to see individuals have problems, but because of what they believe it portends: the end of a system they feel is a problem and needs to go. Likewise, I don't know many JWs who don't feel compassion for individuals with problems or in a disaster or tragedy, but they're excited because of what they believe it portends: the end of a system they feel is a problem and needs to go.
